Kadhi made in Tamil Nadu is called Mor Khozumbu. Like most of the Indian Kadhis it is Yoghurt(Curd) based with a little variation to make it different from other Kadhis.

You can use any vegetable of your choice. I prefer Ladies Finger. If you decide to use Ladies finger, you will have to saute it. If you decide to use any other vegetable or mixture of vegetables, you have to boil it/them with a little salt and turmeric powder.
Soak for about 30 minutes coriander seeds, cumin seeds, channa dal, raw rice and 1-2 red chilies.
Grind them together with green chilies into a fine chutney-like paste.
Nicely beat the curds along with an equal quantity of water.
Mix the chutney-like paste with the vegetable and the beaten curds. Cook on slow flame till one boil.
Season with mustard seeds, urad dal, and whole red chilies.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
